It shows you the sky. It doesn't watch you.

What the frame knows about you

Almost nothing. A FlyFrame has no camera, no microphone, and no GPS. It cannot see, hear, or locate you. The only thing it knows is the location you type in during setup — so it can show you the aircraft passing over that spot.

The location you choose

You pick where the frame watches the sky. It can be your home, or somewhere more general — a nearby town works just as well. Because the frame has no GPS, it only knows what you enter.

We store that location approximately — rounded to roughly a kilometre — which is all that's needed to show you the right patch of sky. It is never sold and never shared, and you can change it or delete it at any time from your dashboard.

The flight data

The aircraft you see come from public flight data — the same information anyone can see on a flight-tracking website or app. You connect a flight-data source of your choice; FlyFrame simply shows the planes near the location you picked. It tracks aircraft near a place you choose — not you.

What the frame sends back to us

To keep your frame working and healthy, it periodically reports a small amount of technical data:

• Health telemetry — things like uptime, free memory, Wi-Fi signal strength and firmware version. It carries no location and no personal content, and we keep it on a rolling 30-day basis.
• Your aircraft collection — the airframes your frame has spotted, so you can browse them in your dashboard. This is enriched from public aircraft registries.
• What's showing right now — the current card only, as a latest snapshot. We don't build a history of everything that has flown over you.

Your Wi-Fi stays on the device

The Wi-Fi network and password you give the frame are stored on the device itself so it can connect. They are not sent to us.

The website

To run your account we store your email address and your orders. We use analytics to understand aggregate site usage (which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from) — we do not sell your data and we don't use it for advertising or ad targeting.

If your frame was a gift

When you set up a frame you were given, you claim it to your own account and choose your own location. Whoever gifted it never sees where it ends up, or anything else about how you use it. Any location it arrived showing was just an out-of-the-box demo, replaced the moment you set it up.
